Indian rookie all-rounder Hardik Pandya has expressed his happiness over his inclusion in the squad for the upcoming World T20 and Asia Cup, saying that he feels glad to be a part of such a big tournament.
"I am feeling really good. It's a really big tournament. It's a good opportunity to bring fame for my country and Vodadara," the 22-year-old told reporters during the International half-marathon here.
Pandya, who believes that the upcoming World T20 would be a learning curve for him, insisted that his aim would be to help his side win the format's pinnacle tournament for the second time.
"The more matches I will play, the more I will learn. So the experience of playing in the World T20 and Asia Cup will help me in future," Pandya added.
Earlier, the Board of Control for Cricket in India named Mahendra Singh Dhoni as the skipper.
The Asia Cup is slated to be held between February 24 to March 6, followed by the World T20, starting from March 15 in India.
