Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti leader Hardik Patel, who is demanding reservation for the Patel community under the Other Backward Caste (OBC) quota, on Tuesday reached out to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his Andhra Pradesh counterpart N. Chandhrababu Naidu while criticizing the Centre.
"Some people said that you have a strong political presence in Gujarat. You have witnessed it in Gujarat, but not in Bihar. Even Nitish Kumar is one of us," said Patel.
"The ignorant people must know that in Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu is one among us," he added.
The Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti leader also challenged those opposing the demands of the Patel community.
"What will happen if the whole community of Patidars uses their NOTA power?" he asked.
Patel also instigated the people to join him in a future protest at the Jantar Mantar in New Delhi.

Addressing a Patidar rally in Ahmedabad, he spoke about how India stands on three pillars; the Indian Army, the farmer and labourers.
"Political parties say that a farmer's death is his own responsibility. 6000 farmers died in Gujarat. Who'll take the responsibility? If any more farmers die, it won't be good for either Gujarat or India," he said while talking about the farmers suicides.
He also mentioned the lack of initiative by the government in resolving the reservation issue.
"If the Supreme Court can open at 3:30 a.m. in the morning to decide the fate of a terrorist, then why not for the youth and the future of this nation?" he asked.
