The U.S. exhibition basketball team, Harlem Globetrotters's rookie Thunder Law has smashed the official Guinness World Record for the longest basketball shot.
Law stood a few rows back into the seats and drained a hoop from 109 feet, 9 inches at U.S. Airways Center in Phoenix, the Washington Times reports.
He said it seemed nearly impossible as he had never tried a shot from that distance before.
The old record was 104 feet, 7 inches, which was set in February 2011, the report added.
