Queens Park Rangers football team manager Harry Redknapp has laughed of rumours suggesting that if his side fails to beat Manchester United, he would be sacked.
QPR is currently in the Premier League relegation zone and would face Louis van Gaal's fourth-placed side on Saturday. And with poor results, speculations are rife that Redknapp's job is under threat.
However, the QPR boss joked that the journalists could have picked an easy game for him, but added that added club owner Tony Fernandes had mentioned nothing of that nature to him, the BBC reported.
The former Tottenham Hotspur manager said that he wanted to stay at the club but accepted any decision on his future was out of his hands. He said that he has got a great relationship with owner and the shareholders, but added that if they want to take a change of direction then that's their decision.
Redknapp insisted that there's nothing he could do about that, adding that they would do whatever they do and there's no point losing sleep.
