The Petroleum Dealers Association in Haryana called off the indefinite strike today after their delegation had discussions with State BJP chief Subhash Barala.
The petroleum dealers have been demanding that tax on diesel should be lower by 1-2 per cent.
The dealers have also been demanding removal of five percent surcharge on VAT and landing cost of crude oil at Panipat refinery from the state government. Yesterday, the fuel pumps in Haryana had stopped selling petrol and diesel the consumers.
