One of the charity organizations for helping Nepal earthquake victims has denied that Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly donated 5M pounds for the wake of devastating disaster.
Save the Children organization, who has the Real Madrid player as an ambassador, released a statement clarifying that the football star used his voice and his global visibility to raise awareness about the children who are under vulnerable conditions in Nepal after earthquake, the Daily Star reported.
The organization continued that the donation rumors of the 30-year-old footballer to the emergency response of the organization are false, but they thank the star for his support in publicizing the situation facing children and families in Nepal.
Ronaldo initially took to Facebook to ask his 100 million followers to support the relief efforts in the region.
