An amateur photographer is apparently convinced that a new unusual photograph captured by him can reignite the debate over the existence of the Loch Ness Monster.

David Elder, who doesn't exactly know what he snapped while at the Fort Augustus end of the loch, has claimed that a "solid black object" gliding beneath the lake's surface caused the sudden ripple, Metro.co.uk reported.

He said that he was at the pier head at Fort Augustus and he was taking a picture of a swan at the time, when out of the corner of his right eye he caught sight of a black area of water about 15 feet long, which developed into a kind of bow wave.
