David E. Kelley's limited series adaptation of 'Big Little Lies,' starring Oscar winners Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon, has been picked up by the premium cable network destination, HBO.
The 'Moulin Rouge' star along with the 39-year-old American actress will be producing the series with partners Bruna Papandrea and Per Saari along with Kelly, Deadline.com reported.
The series is based on the book by Australian author Liane Moriarty. Described as a subversive comedy, it narrates the tale of three mothers of kindergartners, whose so called perfect lives unravel to the point of murder.
