Heavy rain has lashed several parts of Telangana in the last 12 hours.
The incessant rains especially battered the state capital, Hyderabad city on the third consecutive day throwing the normal life out of gear.
Parts of Nalgonda, Medak, Mahabubnagar and Warangal districts received very heavy rainfall.
Several parts of Hyderabad received eight centimetres rainfall during the past six hours.
Meanwhile, met officials warned that heavy rain very likely to occur at several parts of the state.
The teams of Army and the National Disaster Response Forces (NDRF) have been put on standby in case of any eventuality.
