New Zealand cricket team coach Mike Hesson has insisted that his side's build up to the World Cup has been as good as he cold wish for, but claims that they need to refresh physically and mentally and then go again.
Hesson insisted that it has not been too easy against Sri Lanka and Pakistan, where they won six out of eight completed ODIs and witnessed some stunning individual performances.
New Zealand might not have faced Australia, England or South Africa in the past two months but they could only defeat the opponents that they faced, Stuff.co.nz reported.
Hesson insisted that New Zealand's in-form batsmen did not really need a tougher examination, having feasted on some at times ordinary pace bowling, on friendly surfaces.
He said that they have won key moments, adding that guys have had to bowl at the death under pressure and his side has had to chase medium and high scores and they have had to bat first in challenging conditions at times.
Hesson claimed that it's been great preparation but added that they need to refresh physically and mentally and then go again.
