Bubba Watson, who won his second Green Jacket at the Masters, has actually been reportedly presented with exactly the same jacket he was given when he won the Augusta National in 2012.
Augusta National Golf Club, which is reportedly famous for its bizarre yet endearing traditions, does not issue more than one Green Jacket to multiple winners and the only time it does issue it is if a golfer's size 'drastically changes'.
According to News.com.au, Watson cannot keep the jacket for more than a year, because following the jacket is returned to Augusta where it is permanently stored in a cedar closet.
The only time a player's Green Jacket reportedly comes out of the cedar closet is when he wins the Masters again or when he visits the golf club.
The only Masters winners who have successfully taken their Green Jacket from the club indefinitely since the rule was introduced are Gary Player, Henry Picard and Seve Ballesteros, the report added.
