High flood situation in Ghagra and Rapti River

The River Ghagra at Darauli in the Siwan district of Bihar is now flowing in a high flood situation.

At 6.00 am, it was flowing at a level of 61.42 meters with rising trend, which is 0.60 meters above its danger level of 60.82 meters and 0.32 meters below its previous Highest Flood Level (HFL) of 61.74 meters in 1998.

The river is also flowing in Gangpur in Bihar's Siwan district in high flood situation.

Today morning at 6.00 am, it was flowing at a level of 57.85 meters with rising trend which is 0.81 meters above its danger level of 57.04 meters and 0.16 meters below its previous HFL of 58.01 meters in 1983.

River Rapti at Balrampur in Uttar Pradesh is also flowing in high flood situation. Today, at 6.00 in the morning; it was flowing at a level of 104.83 meters with rising trend which is 0.21 meters above its danger level of 104.62 meters and 0.42 meters below its previous HFL of 105.25 meters in 2000.
