Former United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has reportedly hinted at running the 2016 Presidential elections at a fundraising event in Iowa, a report said.
Addressing a crowd at the 37th annual Harkin Steak Fry, held in honor of Sen. Tom Harkin, D-Iowa who is retiring from Congress this year, Clinton said although her immediate focus is helping fellow Democrats in the midterm elections but she has also been thinking about "that other thing," reported Fox News.
She added that she would not let another seven years go by and declared that it was time "to write new chapters in the American dream."
Although Clinton has not officially made a decision to run for the White House but many are building a network for her run already. She has been garnering support across Iowa and other key voting states.
The former Secretary of State finished third in Iowa in the 2008 Presidential run-off, behind President Barack Obama and John Edwards.
