A welfare organization working for the rights of Hindus in Pakistan has raised its voice against having a separate electorate for the minority communities, a demand that was made by another Hindu organization a day earlier.

Speaking to the media at the Karachi Press Club on Wednesday, the organization's representative said that the Pakistan Hindu Seva refuses to be a part of any campaign that hurts the collective interest of the Hindu community in Pakistan, reported the Dawn.

He said that one of the major problems faced by the minorities in general and the Hindus in particular, was the forceful conversion of young girls to Islam. He added that almost 10-15 girls are converted on an average in a month.
