The writers of 'Homeland' series recently enraged Pakistan and its leaders after showing similar concept of Sony's 'The Interview' but minus the assassination.

A Pakistani embassy official is blasting the show, told New York Post that 'Homeland' makes it look like Pakistan, a longtime US ally and is embracing dictators and terrorists, the New York Post reported.

The report also told about scenery saying that Islamabad has beautiful mountains and greenery, but on the series it is a war zone where shootouts and bombs go off with dead bodies.

Showtime's hit series, which has just wrapped its 4th season, shows all about Claire Danes CIA character battling a Taliban terrorist in Islamabad, Pakistan including double-crosses from Pakistani politicians and military officials.
