Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) launched its new flagship, CBR 650F priced at Rs 7,30,000 ex-showroom in Delhi on Tuesday. The bike will come to India as a completely knocked down unit.
The bike was launched at a special event called the 'HondaREVFest'. The CB Hornet 160 R was also launched, while the CBR150R and the CBR250R received new updated graphics.
A mystery bike, which will be launched soon, was shown but no details of the same were shared.
"We had announced to launch 15 models this year and out of that we have already introduced 10 products so far in the past seven months. CBR 650F is the 11th model launched in the country," said Keita Muramatsu, President and CEO, HMSI.
He added that the team at Honda worked very hard to realise a dream of making a 16 valve in line, four cylinder motorcycle right here in India.
The CBR 650F comes with various features like mono shock suspension, six speed transmission and engine cooling. As the bike is being manufactured locally, it will help the company sell more units.
