Reacting to the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) Delhi unit Chief Vijay Goel's meeting with Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung to demand the resignation of Delhi Law Minister Somnath Bharti, for his vigilante action against Ugandan women, Bharti called the allegations made on him incorrect, and also asked the reporter questioning him as to how much money was she paid by BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.
"All the allegations made against me are wrong, and this is being orchestrated by the BJP. They are trying to defame me, and I am going to take them to the court," said Bharti.
On being questioned by a reporter, as to whether he was planning to resign from the post of the Delhi law minister on moral grounds, Bharti asked, "How much money were you paid by Modiji?"
Goel on Friday met the Lt. Governor to demand the resignation of Bharti for his vigilante-style action against Ugandan women during a night raid in the capital.
BJP leaders also protested at 14 different places of the national capital on Friday, demanding Bharti's resignation.
Yesterday the Supreme Court issued notice to Central Government and Delhi Government on Kejriwal's recent protest and has asked for reply in next six weeks.

The notice was issued during a hearing of Public Interest Litigation (PIL), which was filed by lawyer, M.L. Sharma, against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) over their protest outside the Railway Ministry, which amounted to a breakdown of the constitutional machinery.
"The Supreme Court has issued a notice asking few questions as to whether the recent agitation was constitutional or unconstitutional. Whether the Delhi Chief Minister has done anything constitutional by heading this protest or has he broken the law. Whether he should be removed from the office or should he be punished" disclosed Sharma.
He added that there was no mention of Delhi Police in the notice.
"Supreme Court has not put forward any type of comment or commentary on the Delhi Police," added Sharma.
On Thursday, AAP leader Yogendra Yadav had ruled out any action against Somnath Bharti saying the Lieutenant Governor has ordered a judicial inquiry into the matter and the report would be out in a month.
He also said that Bharti would not be resigning as the Delhi Law Minister.
Yadav disclosed that the party investigations found no evidence to suggest that Bharti made racist comments or misbehaved with African women during the raid.
