While the 2015 IIFA Weekend has come to another extravagant conclusion people are abuzz with the fantastic performances, green carpet looks and the cumulative glamour and glitz of the Weekend Extravaganza.

The 'Gunday' boys Ranveer Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor were the hosts for the S-cross IIFA Awards 2015 that took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia this year. The boys had the audience in a frenzy of laughs through the entire show as they donned costumes, made jokes and even took friendly jabs at their fellow actors giving one of the best performances to be seen on an awards stage.

While a script is generally written some time in advance for hosts, Ranveer and Arjun put in hours of their own time to ensure that the script matched their own creative instincts and would make for an evening with non-stop entertainment for the audience. After countless hours of writing script, running the jokes and punch-lines through friends and focus-groups and holding 6-8 hour meetings to brainstorm on the creatives, the duo won the full reward of their toil in the cheers and peals of laughter that erupted from the audience through the night.

What made the pair an indubitable hit as hosts was the fact that they seemed to be sincerely having a good time themselves. Not only were they hosting what is Bollywood's biggest and most extravagant soiree in the year, they were the best guests as well. Whether it was a bromance mashup with songs like 'Bade Miya Chote Miya', 'Main Kailadi Tu Anaadi', 'Karan Arjun' and 'Partner' to the Rakhi Sawant surprise moment that had the audience in splits, from the stand-up comedy act to dancing with Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy or the Aalaap contest with Ankit Tiwari, the boys had the energy levels up and their comic timing was impeccable.

The 'Gunday' twosome were even digitally inserted while on stage into iconic films like 'DDLJ', 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag', and 'Ghulam' where they interacted with the characters in the visuals to hilarious effect. The unstoppable Ranveer Singh was not even daunted when his sling accidentally fell off during an act and continued to regale the crowds with his antics.
