HTC has reportedly rolled out its latest range of smartphone that boasts of dual cameras and improved gesture-driven user interface.
The HTC One (M8) has 5-inch display and is inclusive of the sixth version of HTC's Sense user interface, a new iteration of BlinkFeed that allows for greater customization of content streams based on personal preferences, audio amplifier and a better battery life.
According to Tech Hive, the highlight of the device is the 5 MP front camera and dual rear cameras offering depth-of-field bokeh effects for pro-looking images, apart from a manual mode with sliders for ISO, white balance and more.
Some of the gesture controls allow users to access the widget panel, capturing photos and answering calls with a single-motion, while simply double tapping the screen would unlock the phone.
The new chassis with 90 percent aluminium in design is slightly taller, wider, heavier and has more rounded edges than its predecessor, and the optional Dot View case offers gesture control and protection.
The report added that the HTC One (M8) starts at 199 dollars.
