The Army on Sunday recovered a large quantity of explosives from the Chirang district of Assam.
During a search operation in the reserve forest area of Chirang, the security forces reportedly also found many war-like stores in which the explosives were stored.
The recoveries include an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) weighing 6 kilograms and incriminating documents with details of extortions being carried out by the banned outfit National Democratic Front of Bodoland-Songbijit faction.
