Hugh Jackman has been roped in to star in a movie based on Olympian Eddie 'The Eagle' Edwards, it has been confirmed.
The 46-year-old Australian actor will play the role of Chuck Berghorn, a ski expert from Lake Placid, New York State, US, who guided Eddie to victory at the 1998 Winter Games in Calgary, the Daily Express reported.
Taron Egerton has been roped in for the lead role i.e. Eddie and Timothy Spall will play Eddie's father in the movie.
The film will be helmed by Dexter Fletcher and produced by Matthew Vaughn.
