Hulk Hogan is devastated and is mourning the death of his "best friend" Roddy Piper.
Hogan said that Piper, who died at the age of 61 due to a cardiac arrest in his sleep, was a legend and he would forever miss him, TMZ.com reported.
The professional wrestler, who along with Piper was 80's biggest wrestling stars added, "God's gain is our loss. May his family in this time of need, find peace. Much love forever, HH."
Hogan and Piper had famously battled at Wrestlemania I in 1985.
Apart from Hogan, other wrestling champs also paid tribute to the late professional wrestler online.
While The Iron Sheik issued a statement saying, "Roddy Piper. I love you forever. God bless you bubba," WWE legend Virgil said, "My main man. Always had my back. RIP #RoddyPiper."
Kevin Nash, Bill Goldberg, referee Jim Ross, UFC's Dana White and John Cena were also among the people who mourned Piper's death.
Meanwhile, WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon said that Piper was one of the most entertaining, controversial and bombastic performers ever in WWE, and had a massive global fan following. "I extend my deepest condolences to his family.
