Hundreds of evacuees boarded the aircrafts to leave flood-ravaged Kashmir as the rescue operations continue on war-footing to pull out the victims.
The relief material for the flood-hit Kashmir was also being loaded on the dented Air Force planes.
Army official showed dents on the helicopter caused due to stone pelting during the rescue operations.
"People's anger is justified. They can behave that way in such a situation," said an official.
"Around 40 boats have been destructed due to the stone pelting by angry protesters. They are completely dysfunctional now. But we have enough boats to carry out the rescue operations," added another official.
Meanwhile, the Indian Army is working round the clock to restore road connectivity.
