Ranbir Kapoor, who is going through not so smooth lane both personally and professionally, feels that there's a need for reinvention.
In a promo of a candid interview with Rajeev Masand, to be aired today, the 33-year-old actor is seen stating, "I am in that phase where I have to change, my films have to change, my pocket of expression has to change and the tricks in my magic bag have to change."
Further talking about his state of mind after having a chunk of unsuccessful movies in past few years, Ranbir said that his confidence is affected.
"I will be lying if I say my confidence is not affected. When films don't do well, actors feel insecure, worrisome. It makes actors feel- is the shine on my star fading? Do I have anything else to offer?" he is seen saying in the second promo of the interview.
On the professional front, Ranbir will be next seen in Karan Johar's 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil,' along with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anushka Sharma and Fawad Khan, slated for an October 28 release.
He will then be seen in Anurag Basu's 'Jagga Jasoos,' opposite his ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif next year.
