The Indian Air Force conducted a full dress rehearsal this morning ahead of their 82th founding anniversary that falls on October 8.
During the Air Force Day Parade-cum-Investiture Ceremony at the Air Force Station Hindon, an air display by various aircraft will be part of the celebrations.
The areas over which the aircraft will be flying at low levels will be Wazirpur Bridge, Karwalnagar, Afjalpur, Hindon, Shamli, Jiwana, Chandinagar, Hapur, Philkua, Ghaziabad and Hindon.
Air Force Day was officially observed for the first time on October 8, 1932, when it was an auxiliary air force of the British Indian Empire.
The Indian Air Force has 170,000 personnel and more than 1,400 aircraft. It is considered one of the leading air forces of world.
It has the responsibility of safeguarding Indian territory from all risks and provide help during natural calamities in affected areas.
