Zlatan Ibrahimovic netted a dramatic late winner as Manchester United secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace in their Premier League clash at the Selhurst Park here on Thursday.
Jose Mourinho's side made the breakthrough first when midfielder Paul Pogba struck a goal in added time at the end of the first half to give his side a lead.
In the 66th minute, James McArthur pulled back a classy and deserved equaliser for the hosts, goal.com reported.
However, Palace failed to halt the powerhouse combination of Pogba and Ibrahimovic, who was played in by the midfielder to snatch the winner from a tight angle just two minutes prior to the final whistle.
The result leaves United sixth in the league table, just three points behind fifth-placed Tottenham and six back from local rivals Manchester City, who swept aside Watford 2-0 in their league clash at the Etihad Stadium.
United will lock horns with West Brom while City will take on Arsenal in their next league clash.
