A bomb disposal squad of the CRPF defused a powerful IED near a field in Assam's Nagaon District recently.
Patrolling police team found the IED, weighing over 1.5kg, in a tiffin box at Nij Dimou village under Bebejia police station.
The police also spotted two youth, suspected to be militants, near the field but they escaped under the cover of darkness.
