The Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE) recently organized an exhibition-cum-sale of jewelery, manufactured by trainees who took traditional Assamese jewelery making classes at the institute in Guwahati.
The entrepreneurship programmes had been promoted by OIL India from undergraduate students mostly from Tinsukia and Lakhimpur.
"Coming to IIE, we have been benefitted by the skill in jewelry making. I see that we can have a very good career because the scope of jewelry is really vast in India. As you know India is a land of jewelry so it's very good for us. And this exhibition cum sale is very beneficial for us," said a participant.
