IIF Delhi signs MoU with Kazakhstan's Academy of Public Administration in field of finance

Indian Institute of Finance (IIF) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Kazakhstan's Academy of Public Administration (APA) to further the cause of research and education in the field of finance and administration.

The MoU was signed at the Academy in Astana, Kazakhstan. The academic collaboration would further the cause of enriching research in financial administration and financial economics, holding of joint seminars, training programs and exchange programs at both faculty and student levels. This would also help build stronger socio-cultural ties between the two nations and its people.

The Academy of Public Administration is a Federal Institute of Higher Professional Education under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It is a center of excellence in imparting education and training to Kazak Civil Servants.

The APA aims at retraining and advanced training of administrative and political civil servants, diplomatic service specialists, judges, judiciary and law enforcement employees. Over 4,500 civil servants including 600 judges are trained annually at the Academy.

The post-graduate education program training is implemented within sseven Master's specialties and four doctoral specialties in three institutes - the Institute of Management, the Institute of Justice, the Institute of Diplomacy, the National School of Public Policy and others. IIF is its First (1st) Indian Academic Partner in the region from amongst 46 partners from USA, France, UK, Netherland, Germany, Korea, Austria, Russia, Turkey, Poland, Hungary, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus and Ukraine.

The agreement was signed between Prof. Dr. Bolatbek Abdrassilov, Rector, Academy of Public Administration and Prof. J. D. Agarwal, Chairman (President) and Director (Rektor) IIF, seconded by Prof. Dr. Yessimova Sholpan, Vice-Rektor for Science and International Relations, APA; Prof. Dr. Saltanat Teleuova, Head of International Cooperation and Public Relations Department, APA; Prof. S.A. Samal, Director ITPPA, APA and Prof. Aman Agarwal, Senior Vice-Chairman IIF and Prof. Saurabh Agarwal, Vice-Chairman, IIF during their visit to Kazakhstan. Other faculty of APA, Kazakhstan gracing the historic moment were Dr. Saltanat Teleuova, Department of International Affairs, Vice-Rectors and other senior professors.

The rector of the academy, Prof. Dr. Abdrassilov Bolatbek Serikbayevich is a Doctor of Biological Sciences and a candidate of physico-mathematical sciences. He is an honorary member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, academician of the National Academy of Natural Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Russian Academy of Natural Sciences and the International Academy of High Schools.
