Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has reportedly pledged to put up a "grand show" to express solidarity with the nation and to mark a month of Islamabad protests.
Addressing the protesters at D-Chowk, facing the parliament, he said on Wednesday that he will present evidence against the government to bolster his party's case on Saturday, the day his protest sit-ins complete a month, reported the Dawn.
Khan also lashed out at the federal ministers for alleging that Pakistan had lost a trillion rupees due to his and Dr Tahirul Qadri's sit-ins in the federal capital. He also demanded an explanation into the claims.
Terming the battle between the Nawaz Sharif government and his party as "a battle between oppressors and oppressed," he said that holding peaceful protests was his party's lawful right.
During his speech, the former cricketer also urged the nation to join his protest sit-ins in Islamabad.
