India and Bangladesh have agreed on extraditing wanted criminals from each other's territory during home-secretary-level talks held here.

Dhaka has expressed its readiness to extradite United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) leader Anup Chetia, who is currently lodged in a jail in Bangladesh, the Daily Star reported.

Meanwhile, India on its part have shown its willingness to transfer Nur Hossain, the alleged mastermind of the Narayanganj seven-murder, lodged in an Indian prison who was arrested by West Bengal police recently as he fled his country to evade justice.

The three-day home secretary-level talks between Bangladesh and India also threw light on the likely placing of the bill on land boundary protocol in its next parliament session for ratification.

Among the other highlights of the meeting, Delhi and Dhaka reached an agreement to bring down border killing to zero.

Apart from this other issues like border management, trafficking of arms, drugs, women and children, training for Border Guard Bangladesh and police by India were also discussed.

The 13 member Bangladeshi side was led by Mozammel Haque Khan, while his Indian counterpart Anil Goswami led a 16- member delegation.
