Shikhar Dhawan remained unbeaten on 74 as India accumulated 107 without any loss before rain interrupted play on the day one of the one-off Test against Bangladesh here on Wednesday.
India opted to bat first. Murali Vijay scored an obstinate 33 not out, while Dhawan mounted pressure on the hosts' bowling unit by smashing 12 boundaries in his unbeaten 74.
India has picked five bowlers, including three pacers Ishant Sharma, Varun Aaron and Umesh Yadav besides Ravichandran Ashwin and Harbhajan Singh as specialist spinners.
