India beats Pak to retain Kabaddi World Cup title

India has beaten Pakistan in the final of the 4th men's Kabaddi World Cup in Ludhiana, according to reports.

According to The Express Tribune, Pakistan, who had stormed into the final after decimating the American team, were beaten by India 48-39 at the Guru Nanak stadium in Ludhiana, India.

The win means India retain their world title, the report said.

Prior to the match, Pakistan Punjab chief minister Shahbaz Sharif had said that if India wins, it means Pakistan's neighbour has won and they would congratulate India.
