Describing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Japan as very heartening and positive, Foreign Policy expert N N Jha on Saturday said that India can tap on the vast potential in modern technology that is available in Japan.
"On the economic field we can tap into the vast reservoir of technology available in Japan. And in the bullet train matters, I would prefer the Japanese technology to Chinese," Jha said.
"It is a very heartening and positive development that Prime Minister Modi is in Japan today and will be there till the 3rd of September. India and Japan have very close, historic, religious cultural affinities. It is a logical outcome of that situation," he added.
