The Indian High Commission in Pakistan on Sunday celebrated the second International Day of Yoga with great fervor.
"India celebrates the 2nd International Day of Yoga in Pakistan," tweeted the High Commission of India here.
The event was organised in collaboration with the United Nations Information Centre (UNIC), said an official statement.
About 200 yoga enthusiasts drawn from Diplomatic community, including the Ambassadors from some nations, performed a string of Yoga Asanas to mark this important day.
The materials on positive aspects of Yoga were also handed over to the participants.
It is universally accepted that regular practice of Yoga has very positive implications for human health, the statement added.
Several other nations across the globe also celebrated International Yoga Day.

" Australia, Africa, Asia and Europe! #IDY2016 celebrated with great fervour in all parts of the world today," tweeted Ministry Of External Affairs Official Spokesperson Vikas Swarup yesterday.
"Berlin to Beijing, Paris to Jakarta! Glorious day kicks off #IDY2016 celebrations across the world!," he said.
Meanwhile, in India as many as 10,000 people will be participating in the International Yoga Day celebrations in the national capital on June 21 in collaboration with the Ministry of AYUSH and the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC).
The United Nations General Assembly had declared June 21 as the International Yoga Day on December 11, 2014.
Accordingly, the first International Yoga Day celebration was organized at Rajpath in New Delhi on June 21 last year.
