The India Center announced the India-Japan conclave
This conclave to be held in Tokyo on September 2 is the part of the ongoing initiatives of the India Center to catalyze the process of the India-Japan global partnership. This would further the strong and historic partnership between India and Japan.
The conclave will bring together around 1,000 key policy makers, business leaders from India and Japan. A contingent of over 100 prominent business leaders from India has travelled to participate in this conclave.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the esteemed gathering. This will add a new chapter to the strategic partnership between the two countries.
The discussions in the conclave would also focus on the evolution of the development and cooperation model between India and Japan which is based on the framework of Relationship (r), Mechanism (M) and Economy (E).
The discussion at the conclave will be based and focused on business and policy framework, which will be built around energy efficiency, environmental responsibility and sustainability and will also contribute towards empowering societies not only in India and Japan but across the globe.

As India embarks on the journey of its socio - economic development with special focus on the development of its infrastructure including road, railways, development of smart cities etc., Japan as the global partner has a very important role to play in India's nation building.
Japanese participants of the conclave are looking enthusiastically to interact with their various counterparts from India and the Indian Prime Minister.
