Samajwadi Party leader Naresh Agarwal said here on Thursday that there should be a compromise between both India and China on border limit.
Agarwal said, "There should be a compromise that both will be at their limit on the border. What's the meaning of this, that at one side Chinese president has come here and on the other Chinese are doing incursions at the border."
"India is a really great market. If someone is investing here they are doing it for themselves and not for our country, India should understand this," he added.
Shrikant Kondapalli, an expert on China affairs, today expressed his concern about the fresh Chinese incursion into the Indian territory, and claimed that this could be a message given by the Chinese troops to its President, Xi Jinping, that no fruitful discussion on the boundary issue be held with the Indian leadership during his official trip.
He also said that six-seven years ago such incursions into this area was unheard off.
According to reports that the Chinese troops made fresh intrusions into the Indian territory in Ladakh this morning, even as both the nations held a flag meeting on Wednesday to discuss the situation in Chumar which proved inconclusive.
These incursions come at a time when the Chinese President Xi Jinping is on a three-day state visit to India.
