India on Tuesday defeated England by five wickets to remain unbeaten and get three more points in the ongoing series of Triangular T20 matches for the blind.
On a hot and humid day, England captain Ed Hossell won the toss and opted to bat first.
Indian captain Ajay Reddy struck twice in the first over and the English batsmen were never able to recover from that as they managed to muster up only 131 runs at the loss of eight wickets by the end of the 20th over.
Batsman Peter Blueitt was the highest contributor for his team as he smashed a half-century to take his side to a respectable total.
Chasing the low target Indian batsmen were very cautious and lost a few early wickets. But a composed half-century from Sunil Ramesh saw the chase through.
With this win, India extended their points tally to nine and England are yet to open their account in the tri-series.
