Smarting from the humiliating loss in the first Test at Galle, India will be looking to take revenge as they take on Sri Lanka in veteran Kumar Sangakkara's farewell Test match at the P. Sara Oval stadium here on Thursday.

After dominating the first Test for the first two and a half days, the Indian batsmen fell to Lankan spinner Rangana Herath and let the side suffer a 63-run defeat on the fourth day.

Meanwhile, the hosts would be hoping to give Sangakkara a grand farewell by winning the second Test match and the sealing the series, especially after a sensational come-from-behind win in Galle.

A couple of changes are likely to be expected in the Virat Kohli-led side.

Opener Shikhar Dhawan who was the centurion in the first Test, was rules out of the series with a hairline fracture and is likely to be replaced by Murali Vijay.

All-rounder Stuart Binny has been called in by the Indian team management but Dhawan's absence is likely to force them to ask Vijay, who had to keep himself out of the Galle Test after suffering a hamstring injury.
