Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Francois Hollande expressed keenness to further bolster the economic ties between the two nations during their meeting on the sidelines of the G-20 Summit here on Saturday.
"PM @narendramodi and Prez @fhollande of France express keenes to further strengthen economic ties. PM @narendramodi and Prez @fhollande of France keen to enhance economic cooperation. Look to meet in Paris next year," Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) official spokesperson tweeted.
Prime Minister Modi also raised the issue of global terror and stated that success was within grip if nations around the world adopt a common strategy to fight this menace.
"Success against global terror is within reach if States adopt common strategy - PM @narendramodi to Prez @fhollande," Akbaruddin tweeted.
Earlier in the day, Prime Minister had an informal meeting with leaders from BRICS nations.
After the G-20 Summit, Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to travel to Sydney, where he will attend an Indian Diaspora community reception organized in his honour.
He will then travel to Australian capital Canberra to address a special joint sitting of the Australian Parliament on November 18. Prime Minister Modi will also address an Indian community event in Melbourne before travelling to Fiji.
