Asserting that India has no place for allowing any inhuman force to step in, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday reacted sharply to the unfurling of the Islamic State flag in the Kashmir Valley, and said the Centre will be doing everything to deal with such unwanted elements.
"We are absolutely clear and have articulated it since long that any inhuman forces would not be allowed to step in into the Indian soil. As far as ISIS flag in Srinagar is concerned, the Home Ministry and the intelligence has taken a note of this whole issue, has sought a report from the state government as well, and all that is required to do will be done," BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra told ANI here.
Concerns have been raised within security establishments about an incident where some unidentified men wearing masks were reportedly seen carrying ISIS flags after the Eid celebrations last week.
