In connection to United States President Donald Trump's recent move of refusing visas to seven Muslim countries, Communist Party of India (Marxist) has not only come out lashing out against the development as aggressively right wing, but also called the present Indian Government as a junior ally and a subservient of America.

"It should not surprise anybody because Mr. Trump was speaking on these issues even when he was a Presidential candidate. After getting elected he has been taking certain steps which are in-tuned with his own position with many world issues", CPI(M) leader D Raja told ANI.

Branding Trump's policies as aggressively right wing and extremist, Raja stated that the denial of Visa to seven Muslim countries further highlights his divisive, sectarian and racist agendas

"I don't know what is going to be its impact on India in several respects. But India is becoming a junior ally of America," he said.

He asserted that in the garb of being 'strategic partners', India's independent foreign policy would has been undermined and already compromised to a large extent and many more declining facets of this partnership would come to fore soon.
