Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday reached to the Tamil expats in Malaysia and said India is not confined to territory, but exists in every Indian.
"I'm delighted to visit Malaysia. It's a true pleasure. For me, India is not confined to its territory. India exists in every Indian, in every part of the world," he said.
Prime Minister Modi, who was addressing the Indian community here, also invoked Father of the Indian Nation Mahatma Gandhi in his speech.
"Mahatma Gandhi wanted to study Tamil. The Tamil people have a big role in India's path of development. Love and friendship of the Malay Indians have always had a special place in my heart. Your love for India has not reduced. I see this in colour of your festivals, the strings on the music," said Prime Minister Modi.
"It doesn't matter whether I came here without office or I come now as the Prime Minister of India; I have felt the same embrace of friendship. Malay Indians are largest contingent to Pravasi Bhartiya Diwas. And many of you make Vibrant Gujarat Summit more vibrant," he added.
