Congress leader Shakeel Ahmed said on Thursday that the issue of repeated cease-fire violations by Pakistan must be raised during the meetings of the directors-generals of the two border forces.
"India should do everything to raise the issue of concerning our people who are living close to the international Indo-Pak border," Shakeel Ahmed told ANI.
'Pakistani forces are involved in unprovoked firing. We have lost a number of civilians in recent times. We have lost a number of officers in the unprovoked firing. All these issues should be raised very effectively and strongly by the officers who are representing India in these talks," he added.
