Indian delegation will be visiting Islamabad on Wednesday to participate in the two-day Shanghai Cooperation Organization-Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure Legal Experts (SCO-RATS) meeting.
Legal experts from eight-member countries of SCO including China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan along with India as well as representatives of the SCO-RATS Executive Committee will be participating in the meeting.
Despite the recent Indo-Pak tensions, India has agreed to visit Pakistan for its first official participation in the international summit.
The legal experts are expected to hold discussions on various terror threats facing the South-East Asian region and the ways to enhance counter-terrorism cooperation between SCO member states.
This will be the first-ever SCO meeting being held in Pakistan since it became a permanent member of the organisation along with India in June 2017.
Pakistan will be also sharing its experiences in tackling the menace of terrorism through the SCO-RATS forum.
