The play between India and South Africa has been called off without a ball being bowled on Day two of the second Test of the three-match series at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium due to persistent downpour since morning.
The play will start at 9:15 a.m. tomorrow morning to make up for the loss of the game.
Earlier on Day one, replying to the South Africa's first inning score of 214, Indian openers put the hosts in a commanding 80-0 at stumps.
The hosts will aim to score a large first-innings total when Murali Vijay and Shikhar Dhawan will resume the innings on their respective unbeaten score 28 and 45 on the third day.
