Air India manager in Sydney Ravi Bodade has reportedly said that the migrant Indian community's response towards Air India's entry into Australia is impressive.
Air India had launched its first commercial flight Boeing 787 Dreamliner to Australia last September.
It is after 16 long years that the Indian community in Australia has welcomed Air India again, The Indian Sun reported.
Meanwhile, the airline's entry into the Australian aviation industry is not without its share of troubles, however, Bodade is confident of Air India's success.
Bodade said that Air India today has a record of being on time with 80 per cent of the flights to Australia, adding that the airline offers competitive rates and services that places it at par with the already existing airways in the country.
