Indian documentary 'The Cinema Travellers' gets ticket to Cannes

Other than Anurag Kashyap's latest directorial venture 'Raman Raghav 2.0,' a documentary on cinema titled 'The Cinema Travellers' will also be premiered at the Cannes this year.

The 43-year-old director took to his Twitter handle to announce, "A documentary on Cinema "The Cinema Travellers " by two indian filmmakers to premiere at Cannes.. We do have one in official selection.."

This documentary, directed by Shirley Abraham and Amit Madheshiyam, speaks about a traveling movie theatre in India.

'Raman Raghav 2.0' and 'The Cinema Travellers' are the two India films that are going as official entry to the 69th Cannes International Film Festival.

Speaking about his film's successful star, the 'Dev D' director stated, "It is a proud moment for me and my team. The Premiere of 'Raman Raghav 2.0' in Director's Fortnight segment at the Cannes is the best platform we could've asked for. Looking forward for the day.
