Indian shooters Md. Asab, Ankur Mittal and Sangram Dahiya failed to qualify for the final round on day three of the Men's Double Trap event at the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup for Shotgun being held at San Marino.
Asab was the best finishing Indian among three as he shot a score of 134 out of a possible 150 in the qualification rounds to end in 14th place.
Mittal was placed 22nd after shooting 132 while Dahiya, the third Indian in the fray, shot 131 to finish in the 28th spot.
There are two more finals spread over two more days of competition where medals for the Men's and Women's Skeet shooting competition will be decided.
Indian interests will now lie with Man Singh, Smit Singh and Sheeraz Sheikh in the men's skeet while Maheshwari Chauhan and Rashmee Rathore will represent India in the women's event.
