An Indian-origin "dating guru" has brought out a new strategy that gives the loveless a chance to present their romantic skills in a setting which is more like a boardroom than a singles bar.
The presentations are held in Rahul Saggar's apartment, which attracts a wildly eccentric crowd, the New York Daily News reported.
In addition to the PowerPoint slides, people also use various other things like spoken word poetry, improvised raps, and even an odd ukulele-accompanied diatribe against American cultural hegemony.
Saggar, a 42-year-old engineer, began the project after a young woman flirted with him following a work presentation.
Nowadays about 10 to 30 people come at Saggar's flat once a month to present themselves to prospective lovers.
